13th Nakajin Gusuku Cherry Blossom Festival
Cherry blossom season is coming in Okinawa！
Nakajin Castle, registered as one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites will hold Cherry Blossom Festival from 1st February to 9th February.
During the festival, you will definitely see the special pinky Kanhizakura (known as cerasus campanulata) fully blossom with the background of the blue sky.
After 6 pm, the castle will have the lights up with the sakura. You could enjoy the fantastic night view with sakura, only available during the festival.( ´∀｀)
Various events, 「Photo shot time with Hokuzan King and Queen 」や「Experience Ryuusou (Okinawa traditional clothes) 」、「Farmer market of Nakajin village」, are also available during this period.

17th Ryukyu Kaiensai (Okinawa Fireworks Illusion) 2020
Start on April 11th (Sat), 2020！With the theme of “ To the earliest inspiring summer in Japan, you could enjoy the fusion of「Fireworks」at「Ryukyu Kaiensai」。
10,000 shots of the fireworks with the music would light up the night sky of Okinawa!
A global designer, Ms. Koshino Junko, will design the fireworks with the combination of the music from Okinawa local music to the latest hit songs to power up the fireworks illusion!!
Will you be fully amazed by the fireworks blooming in the night sky of Okinawa and the fantastic scenery reflected on the sea surface?♪
For those who are going for the event, it is suggested to bring a light jacket. In Okinawa, it is still chilling during night time in April.(^^)

25th Ie Island Lily Festival
Lily festival is held on 「Ie Island」,30 minutes ferry away from north of the mainland. The island can be visited by one day.
At the lily field park, white carpet made with 1 million pieces of lilies (especially called as lilium longiflorum) will welcome you ♪ The white lily with the blue sky really makes a nice painting(*^^*)
「Global lily corner」with various types of colorful lilies is worth to visit !
During the festival, many stalls with food and drinks as well as local products are available. You could enjoy the nice food from Ie island. Many events will be held on weekends and public holidays.
Why not check the festival during golden week or with the family ♪ It will only take 2 hours to visit the island and do a sightseeing (^^)

Strawberry-Picking
Okinwa Spring Seasonal Event 「Strawberry-Picking」。
From January to May in Okinawa, strawberry picking are mostly available in southern part of the island！
From free- flow with limited time to package sales, why not tasting strawberries as much as you can in Okinawa with warm weather( *´艸｀)r.
So, from many strawberry farms, we would recommend「Chura Ichigo （Nanjo House）」 for its activity as making orginial parifait with plenty of strawberry held in certain time～☆
